We did a summer house exchange to a round one on top of a mountain thirty five years ago and we still can't talk about it as a family, it was so traumatic.

The pointy bathroom is giving me claustrophobia. And the monastery is giving me agoraphobia. The old ballroom with the meringue ceiling looks fun but fiddly. Thanks for reminding me to stay put, Sophie.

The Old Ballroom left me speechless! And it's is in my area! Loved reading this, although looking at what the price I paid for my Brixton flat would get me literally anywhere that isn't London has to be a form of self-torture.
