The Primrose Hill Diaries, part 1
In which I explain why having to move to our fifth home since covid started has somehow - somehow - led to the most joyful, wild, only happens in stories, surprise.
We have moved to Primrose Hill. No, I have not come into fresh wads of money, or suddenly become famous enough to deserve a spot in the North London enclave where everyone’s face is deeply familiar off the telly, or for it to be feasible that I now live seconds away from the streets where the Paddington films were shot. What has happened feels nothing short of a miracle.
We had to leave Kentish Town because the landlord unexpectedly wanted the place back. I was gutted when I got that email. Really winded by it. That was the fourth place my daughter and I had lived since covid started
